Terms of Service

Last updated: May 1, 2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Pipestudy(“we”, “us”, “our”) and govern your use of our website and service (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service (16 in jurisdictions where that is the applicable age). By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. We authenticate accounts via Google OAuth; protecting your Google account is your responsibility. Notify us promptly at gutan.mike@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscriptions and billing

  • Free tier. A free account can create up to three (3) courses for the lifetime of the account. Deletion does not restore allowance.
  • Paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance (monthly or yearly) at the rates shown at checkout. By subscribing you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
  • Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; the paid period you have already prepaid remains active until it ends.
  • Refunds. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. We may offer partial refunds at our discretion, e.g. for prolonged service outages.
  • Price changes. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply to your next renewal.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to create content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes another person's rights.
  • Attempt to circumvent quota limits, billing, authentication, or other technical controls.
  • Scrape, mirror, or systematically extract content beyond what is required for normal personal use.
  • Reverse-engineer the Service, or use it to train competing models.
  • Submit prompts intended to extract personal information about third parties or to generate content that violates our or our providers' policies (including OpenAI's usage policies).

5. AI-generated content

The Service uses third-party large language models to generate courses and lessons from the topics and descriptions you provide. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. The Service is for general educational purposes and is not a substitute for professional advice — medical, legal, financial, engineering, or otherwise. You are responsible for verifying any information you act on.

As between you and us, you own the prompts you submit and the generated lesson content displayed in your account, subject to the license below. We retain ownership of the Service itself, the underlying software, prompt templates, and all related intellectual property.

6. License you grant us

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and display the prompts and content you submit, solely as needed to operate, maintain, and improve the Service. This license ends when you delete the relevant content, except for residual copies retained in routine backups for a limited period.

7. Intellectual property

All rights in the Service's software, design, branding, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial educational use.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if your account is dormant for an extended period, or if we're required to by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will continue to apply.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (b) USD $50.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Miami Beach, Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the courts located in that jurisdiction, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by email or in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
